Fruits of our labors

Here's Carl's pumpkin that he carved last night. He really makes it look easy even though I know it's not. And just to show that I haven't been totally lazy either - the last few uneaten jars of pears and beans - guess I need to get canning again!

I forgot to blog about Cadie's birthday...again

I know it makes no sense, but the months are flying by faster with this child than with any of the others. I can hardly believe how much she's grown already.

So here are pictures of Cadie (and her big sister) just two days after her 5 month birthday. You can see how much she loves Chloe. She really loves her big brothers too.

Two princesses.

Hard labor

Hey everybody... tell Jay Jr. to look at this! Maybe now he won't think my husband is so mean. He's making his own 5 year old son mow the lawn now. Does this mean you'll come visit us again Jay?

p.s. It's cold today! Can't you see that sweatshirt little Carl is wearing? We're so excited it got down to 72!

Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we went on our yearly trip to a pumpkin patch. The kids loved it, as usual. Connor was the funnest. Little Carl has been telling him about it for months now, getting him really excited. The thing is, he was calling it the "punchin patch," asking nearly every day if we were going yet. We kept trying to get him to say "pumpkin patch," but he wouldn't change. So on the ride home, he said " Mommy! They had pumpkins at the punchin patch!"

I know this is a lot of pictures. I just like them. I can't believe how grown up the kids are looking.

Cadie's first food - sweet potatoes

She didn't really like it. She was actually getting pretty annoyed at me.
